Words From Laura
I am passionate about helping people grow in their faith, kids and adults alike. I love the idea of stepping along side families as they undertake growing and guiding their kids, in order to help them develop a deep love for and close relationship with Jesus Christ. I love the thought of being a advocate to the parents of Summit View in their parenting journey. I am so thrilled and encouraged to see how our church is becoming a developer of disciples and how so many parents are excited and willing to take ownership for the spiritual growth of their own family as well as the equipping of others.
Favorite Worship Song
It’s a toss up between two Chris Tomlin songs; Indescribable and Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone). I can’t help but close my eyes and worship when I hear either of those songs. (Though I wouldn’t recommend it while driving!)
Favorite Scripture
There are so many, it’s always hard to pick just one. Depending on what’s going on in my life! Currently, my strong favorite is; Isaiah 61:1-3, verse 1 is especially encouraging to me right now, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners..."
